It's about the director Ed Wood. He made really horrible horror movies in the 50s (maybe 60s or 40s...I don't know) and liked to dress in women's clothing. It's pretty interesting. :)

Well, it's not really a big thing to be on staff. I don't own part of the site or anything. I just submitted enough stuff and posted enough in the forums to be given access to the queue and "backstage" discussions with other staff.
